Xeres Villanueva focuses on helping small businesses, social enterprises and grassroots non-profits that are community minded. She is involved in 2 to 3 small discussion gathering groups in California that are about intersecting Christian Faith and Social Justice. She is involved with an organization called Tuesday Night Project that runs one of the longest running Asian American mic spaces in the country, that focuses on community building and giving people a chance to share their story, talent and voice.

Xeres recently accepted offers to be a blog contributor for a site that explores Christian Faith, liberation theology and anarchism and volunteers as a writer and editorial staff foran online magazine called The Resist Daily. In addition, Xeres serves as a board member for a start-up grassroots non-profit that will offer financial receivership to community projects.
