Ro: Ion își plimba privirea prin câmpul de dovleci, uriaș și auriu, strălucind sub cerul senin al toamnei.
En: Ion let his gaze wander over the field of pumpkins, enormous and golden, glistening under the clear autumn sky.
Ro: Frunzele arămii foșneau în vântul blând al dimineții, iar munții în depărtare desenau un tablou perfect pentru acest sezon.
En: The rustling copper leaves whispered in the gentle morning breeze, and the distant mountains painted a perfect scene for this season.
Ro: Dar în inima lui Ion, exista un nor de îngrijorare.
En: But in Ion's heart, there was a cloud of worry.
