From the US to the Baltics – how to build a transatlantic digital leadership?
Description
Technology is becoming increasingly important in our daily lives, but also – on a global scale. Countries are competing for leadership in various tech fields with a mindset “you are first or you lost”. But how far can you go alone? Baltic American Freedom Foundation together with a DC based Center for European Policy analysis decided that US-Baltic cooperation in the field of tech has a lot of potential and needs a little boost. That’s why they are launching a Digital Innovation Baltic Fellowship that will aim to develop and support a network of next-generation transatlantic leaders in the tech space.
In this episode we will be talking about this fellowship and how to build a transatlantic digital leadership with Milda Matačiūnaite-Boyce, Transatlantic leadership director at the Center for European Policy Analysis and Michael Polt, Ambassador in Residence at the Arizona State University, former U.S. Ambassador in Estonia and Serbia and Montenegro and a member of Baltic American Freedom Foundation (BAFF) Board of Directors.
