Description
Cathleen Dean is writer/producer, filmmaker, photographer and educator raised in Westchester County, NY. She earned a BA in History from Columbia University and is currently an adjunct professor at Nova Southeastern University in Davie, Florida,and the Producer of the Miami/Ft.Lauderdale 48 Hour Film Project.
The 48 Hour Film Project (48HFP) an annual event, which takes place in over 130 cities worldwide, and challenges filmmakers to create a four to seven minute film in only 48 hours.
During the span that she has produced the Miami 48HFP, a Miami Best Film winner also received highest distinction of showcasing at the Cannes Film Festival as a featured part of the Short Film Corner.
