Yesterday, the 18-year-old Gukesh Dommaraju upstaged China’s Ding Liren in the final game of their best-of-14-games to become the youngest ever world chess champion in Singapore. Gukesh is now the second Indian to claim the prestigious classical chess world title, following the legendary Viswanathan Anand.
