Get Up Nation®! My name is Ben Biddick. I’m the Creator and Host of the Get Up Nation® Show and Co-Author of Get Up: The Art of Perseverance with former Major League Baseball player Adam Greenberg. Recently I had the honor and privilege of speaking with Steve and Korey Hess. This epic father and son took some time out to join me on Get Up Nation® to share their insights into resilience. After 21 years with the Denver Nuggets, Steve is now one of six trainers worldwide who sits on the Under Armour training council. He’s a sponsored athlete by Met-Rx. He’s on the scientific advisory board for Masimo MightySat in addition to sitting on the scientific facility board for Panorama Orthopedics and Spine Center. He’s been featured on NBA Inside Stuff, All-Access with Ahmad Rashad, NBATV, and The Eating Network. He has his own workout segment on the Altitude Sports & Entertainment Network and has been featured on all Denver major news channels. Steve has two sons, one of which joins us here. Korey is a guard for the Denver Pioneers and is studying business at the University of Denver. Healthy families face challenges together, so I’m honored that both have joined me here to share how they inspire each other to be the very best they can be.
