Ghanaian journalist Afua Asantewaa Aduonum has secured approval from Guinness World Records (GWR) to undertake an ambitious singing marathon (singathon) lasting between 117 to 120 hours.
In her pursuit of the longest individual singathon, Mrs. Aduonum, a staunch advocate for women's empowerment, plans to focus exclusively on songs from Ghana, specifically celebrating Highlife, Hiplife, and Gospel genres.
