Giants Sign Margevicius for Pitching Depth

Description
The San Francisco Giants have signed veteran left-hander Nick Margevicius to a minor league contract, giving him a chance to earn a spot in the Major Leagues. Margevicius, 29, last pitched in the Majors in 2021 with the Seattle Mariners, but was sidelined by thoracic outlet syndrome. After surgery, he played in the minor leagues and overseas before joining the Detroit Tigers on a minor league deal. The Giants are looking for pitching depth and Margevicius experience could give him an edge in spring training.
