Dr. Peter Fowler won a silver medal for swimming in the 1959 Pan American Games; is a recipient of the Canadian Orthopaedic Association Award of Excellence; opened the Fowler Kennedy Sports Medicine Clinic; was president of the Canadian Academy of Sport Medicine and the founding president of ISAKOS.
