God Is Not in a Hurry—and You Don’t Have to Be Either
Description
God Is Not in a Hurry—and You Don’t Have to Be Either
We live in a world that pushes us to rush—rush to achieve, rush to prove ourselves, rush to get to the next thing. But God is never in a hurry. He moves with purpose, not pressure. His timing is perfect, even when it feels slow to us.
Think about how Jesus lived. He never rushed from place to place. Even when others thought He should hurry—like when Lazarus was sick—Jesus stayed where He was for two more days (John 11:6). His delay was not neglect; it was love. He knew the Father’s timing would bring the greater miracle.
When we feel anxious because life isn’t moving fast enough, God whispers, “Be still, and know that I am God” (Psalm 46:10 ). His plans for you are not behind schedule. You are not missing out. You are right where you need to be, learning to trust His pace.
So take a deep breath today. You don’t have to keep up with the world’s clock. Walk in step with the Father, knowing His timing is always right. If God isn’t in a hurry, you don’t have to be either.
