You Are Allowed to Be a Work in Progress

God never asked you to have it all together before He could love you. He simply asks you to come as you are. Life often feels like a construction site—unfinished, messy, and noisy. But even in the middle of the dust and scaffolding, God calls you His masterpiece.

Philippians 1:6 reminds us, “Being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.” That means your story isn’t over yet. You don’t have to rush to the finish line. Growth takes time, and healing comes in layers.

It’s okay to still be learning how to trust again. It’s okay if your prayers sometimes feel weak. It’s okay to not have every answer. What matters is that God is patiently shaping you, piece by piece.

When you feel discouraged by your progress, remember that Jesus looks at you with compassion, not disappointment. He sees both where you are and who you’re becoming.

You don’t need to hide your rough edges from Him. He already knows them—and still chooses you. You are allowed to be a work in progress, because His grace covers every step of the journey.
