Gold prices surged on Wednesday, November 26th, with the December contract closing at $4,147.50, up $7.50 for the day. Other contracts also saw gains, including the January contract at $4,168.40, up $8.60, and the February contract at $4,184.50, up $7.20. The most significant increase was seen in the November contract, which rose by $20.30 to $4,324.00. Despite the gains, overall trading volume decreased to 136,533 contracts from the previous days 369,960 contracts. The total open interest also decreased by 9,657 contracts to 441,880.
