Lovely ending
The ending left me wishing for a very positive outcome for Batman in the city of superheroes. Great story.
Lovely story made me cry.
Beautifully wrought. Wonderfully narrated. Will definitely look for more titles by this author...highly recommended .
OUTSTANDING!
A great story... So very different to the usual.. And the pace and intonation of the reading was perfect. Thanks to the ABC interview today for introducing me to Nick Earls as a writer.
Great read
Enjoyed this story the whole way through, but particularly liked the unexpected final plot twist.
Really got me in the end
I really wasn't sure about this at the start, why did I care about the indulgent life of a rap star or brat which is how he really comes across.
But when the beautiful Ariel came into the picture, the contrast was amazing, how lucky some people appear even when they dont come across as deserving compared to those innocents who can't seam to catch a break.
The joy portrayed in the park from both father and daughter was outstanding and the slide scene brought me to tears.
