With the incoming Trump administration preparing to take office in over a month, countries like Greece and Turkey are trying to work out what this will mean for the region and their ties to Washington. Ryan Gingeras, a professor in the Department of National Security Affairs at the Naval Postgraduate School and an expert on Turkish, Balkan, and Middle East history, joins Thanos Davelis to look at the different reactions from Greece and Turkey to Donald Trump’s election, break down what we can expect to see when it comes to US relations with both countries, and what this could mean for the Aegean.
