Chicago Fires Homegrown Star Brian Gutiérrez Transfers to Chivas de Guadalajara: A New Chapter BeginsBrian Gutiérrez, a twenty-two-year-old homegrown talent, has been transferred to Liga MX team Chivas de Guadalajara for a five million dollar fee. The Chicago Fire Football Club will retain a percentage of any future sale. Gutiérrez, a key player for the Fire since 2020, played in 164 games, scoring 21 goals and assisting 25 others. He also represented the US national team. Gutiérrez expressed gratitude for his time with the Fire and promised to continue representing Chicago. He joins Chivas, a team with 12 Liga MX titles, after a successful career with the Fire.
