Christiane's journey in education has been remarkable, starting with a bachelor's degree in physics from Tennessee State University and two master's degrees in education from Tennessee State University and Vanderbilt University. She returned to MNPS as a dedicated middle school math teacher before rising to the esteemed position of MNPS board chair. Today, Christiane leads as the President and CEO of the PENCIL Foundation, continuing her impactful work in education.
