Description

Detective Acting Superintendent Guy Flaherty confirmed that witnesses reported an "altercation" between the driver and the victim, Lisa Ward, just before she was struck by the vehicle. Police have seized a white 4WD in connection with the incident and are actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of the former officer.
