HR1 - It’s time for Braves’ offense to return favor & carry starting pitching for a while

In hour one Mike Johnson, Beau Morgan, and Ali Mac recap and react to the Atlanta Braves’ 8-3 win over the Los Angeles Angels last night in game two of their three game series. Mike, Ali, and Beau also talk about how the Braves' offense must continue to step up like they did last night with Chris Sale and now Spencer Schwellenbach both out for a while. Then, The Morning Shift crew lets you hear longtime NFL film analyst Greg Cosell talk about how he loved Kyle Pitts when he came out of college, but now when he watches Kyle Pitts on tape all he can say is that he looks uninspired. Mike, Ali, and Beau react to what Cosell had to say, and talk about how if a contract year doesn't motivate Kyle Pitts then nothing will. The Morning Shift crew also talks about the biggest local and national headlines in The Front Page! On this edition of The Front Page, Mike, Beau, and Ali react to Ohio State wide receiver Jeremiah Smith signing an NIL Deal with Adidas even though Ohio State is a Nike school, the New York Knicks being expected to hire two-time NBA Coach of the Year winner Mike Brown as the franchise's next head coach, and Atlanta United FC signing defender Enea Mihaj. Finally, Mike, Ali, and Beau close out hour one by diving into the life of Ali Mac in Ali’s Mac Drop!
