Last week, the HSE launched its Caring for Kerry campaign in which it emphasised the need to address overcrowding in wards and long delays in the emergency department at UHK.
The campaign was criticised for stating that people should not overstay their time in hospital and that they should only go to the ED in genuine emergencies.
