Today we celebrate Juneteenth, a date which marks the end of *traditional* slavery in America; Innocence Project Policy Analyst Nigel Quiroz drops by to talk about recent civil rights victories, built-in flaws in the justice system which increase rate of mass incarceration amongst people of color by default, and the predominate slaveowner mentality of white NFL franchise-owners; all throughout black civil rights history, there have been two types of white people: allies & people standing in the way.
