The acquisition, set to finalize in Q2 2026, will add 20,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day to Harbours production and 35 million barrels of oil equivalent in proven and probable reserves. It will also increase Harbours operational stake in the Catcher field from 50% to 90% and provide a new presence in the Northern North Sea with a 29.5% non-operated interest in the Kraken oil field. The deal is expected to create operational and financial benefits, including releasing $350M in cash currently held as security for Waldorfs decommissioning costs and additional UK tax losses.
