There is no end to the shock value of it, and the perils associated with it. For those who grew up with random cheesy robot films and sci-fi television, we started at a young age being fascinated by the power and uniqueness of AI. In early depictions, it all seemed so benign, but today it seems we are starting to understand how malevolent it could become. Sure, they promise immortality. But they cannot deliver, so they do what they can with us: track and surveille us until we are less than human in their eyes. The end game is all about control and of course, follow the money.
