Healing Isn’t Linear: Panic Attacks, Progress, and Learning to See Your Wins
Description
Healing isn’t linear: and this week, I’m sharing a real example of that truth. I had three panic attacks, and it was still a good week. Not because the anxiety felt good, but because woven inside the struggle were signs of real, meaningful growth.
In the middle of a hard situation, I showed up as my regulated self: calm, grounded, present. I responded instead of reacting. I stayed connected to my body instead of spiraling into old trauma patterns. And that matters.
This episode explores how progress in trauma healing, nervous system regulation, and emotional resilience rarely looks “pretty.” Sometimes it looks like shaking hands, deep breaths, and choosing compassion after panic. Sometimes it looks like surviving the wave and still choosing yourself afterward.
You are not failing because your healing feels messy.
You’re becoming.
And the more you train your mind to notice your wins: your regulation, your awareness, your self-compassion: the more they expand.
You are worth the effort of creating a life where you feel safe, supported, and deeply loved… especially by yourself.
This episode walks with you gently through panic, progress, and the truth that healing is anything but linear: and that’s okay.
