Have you ever wondered if the recipient of an organ transplant takes on the characteristics of their donor? or what mind set is required for the body to accept an organ from a donor? These are all questions that Marta, a young 40(ish) year old Interior Designer and artist answers in this Podcast. 

At the young age of 19 Marta sadly lost her mum to breast cancer, she was aware that her mum had heart problems but the cancer over shadowed this. In her early 40's Marta found out that her heart was failing and that she need a heart transplant. In this podcast we delve into the challenges Marta faced both physically and mentally in preparation for a heart transplant, as well as the process and recover involved in such a complex surgery.
