We spoke to Heather, who is currently 9 months and 20 days sober this week. After being a lifelong binge drinker who "lived for the weekend", she finally decided to call it quits, after one embarrassing moment to many after her son's birthday.
We take a look back at the moments that led her to give up alcohol and that brought her to her personal sober tipping point where drinking was more painful than getting sober. We discuss how amazing sober holidays are and how they compare to drunken holidays. Although we are only in August, we also talk about how she had her first sober Christmas and how it was a game changer.
