Hector Ross is a seasoned entrepreneur and hospitality professional with over 20 years of experience in operations, business development, and strategic growth within the luxury hospitality and leisure industries. In 2020, Hector founded The Signet Collection, a boutique hotel group that includes The Mitre in Hampton Court and The Retreat Elcot Park, where he combines his passion for exceptional service and historic properties with a commitment to creating unique guest experiences.

Prior to founding The Signet Collection, Hector was Partner and Chief Operating Officer at Longshot Limited, a leading hospitality company, where he was instrumental in the day-to-day operations of Bel & the Dragon, a collection of seven country inns across the Home Counties. As Managing Director, Hector played a pivotal role in growing the brand and overseeing its successful sale to Fullers PLC in June 2018.
