Matt Lundberg is the Director of the DeVries Institute for Global Faculty Development and Professor of Religion at Calvin University in Grand Rapids, Michigan. In his de Vries Institute role, he administers Calvin’s Faith & Learning Fellowship program for newer faculty members and the DeVries Postdoctoral Teaching Fellows program. 

Since 2004, Matt has taught a range of courses at Calvin in theology and Christian ethics. He is the author of Christian Martyrdom and Christian Violence: On Suffering and Bearing the Sword (2021) and co-author of An Introduction to Christian Theology (2nd edition, 2023). He and his wife, Kelly, have three children, ages 22, 20, and 17.
