Description

As a graduate of Howard University School of Law, Nadine has a strong sense of social justice and equity. In June 2020, she co-founded along with two other Howard Law alumni an organization called The Initiative: Advancing the Blue & Black Partnership (“The Initiative”). The Initiative was established to implement a collaborative approach to building healthy, scalable, community policing models and improving community relationships, particularly between members of the Black community and the Blue community. Nadine served as the chief spokesperson and a visible public advocate, championing the organization’s mission externally to partners and stakeholders. She continues to serve on the boards of Law Enforcement Action Partnership (LEAP), a nonprofit dedicated to improving policing outcomes, and Multiple Interactive Learning Objectives (MILO), which produces simulations and trainings for law enforcement.
In 2023, Nadine was recognized by NLADA for her work with The Initiative and awarded the 2023 Exemplar Award.
the founder of General Counsel Support Services, where she provides businesses with accessible, top-tier legal and compliance expertise. A single mom and Black female leader over 50, Nadine embodies resilience and reinvention. After building a successful career in law, she launched her own venture to give companies smarter, more affordable legal solutions while also dedicating this stage of her life to nonprofit work in the legal field.
