Dr. John Marcotte and I go back to 1995 together, and we have worked with and consulted with each other on a lot of horses over those years. Most of the x-rays that appear in my textbook are taken by Dr. John. He has spent a lifetime helping horses and their owners, and found time to become a helicopter pilot in the mix somehow. He has survived a helicopter crash and over 30 years in a super busy Equine Veterinarian practice in Vinita, Oklahoma. With the current Equine Herpes Virus, EHV, going on, I thought this would be the perfect time to sit down with my old friend and have a conversation that you are all invited to. We are cleared for takeoff.
