Hire Great People, Get Out of Their Way

I feel like we tend to like to hire people and tell them how they should do their job.
I understand that there are different levels of leaders, IE - managers, directors, VPs, C-level, ect ... and each has their own strength on what it is they do. But I think when in doubt, or as much as you can, let your people make the call. If you truly hire great people, they will crush it for you and the company. And if they do not, then you may need to find another place in the organization for them (or help them find another company where their skill sets fit better).
So the moral of this one: Hire Great People, Get the F*** Out of Their Way.
