Peu de Français disputaient cet Hong-Kong Open 2025, mais Christo Popov a atteint une belle demi-finale en remportant un quart complètement fou face à Loh Kean Yew. Viktor Axelsen et Lee Zii Jia devront encore patienter pour gagner un match depuis leurs retours. La Chine a frappé fort en remportant les cinq tableaux, Li Shifeng et la paire Feng/Huang avaient notamment notamment à cœur de faire oublier des Mondiaux ratés.
