Laurel (Laurie) Nelson is the CEO for The Center for Respite Care. The Center serves people experiencing homelessness who have been released from the hospital and need a place to recover and heal. The Center provides medical care, social service support, transition to stable housing as well as helps individuals secure employment. Laurie presided over the Center’s move to Cincinnati’s OTR where they share services with other organizations who serve the same constituency. Laurie recently completed her second MA — from the University of Notre Dame.
