Horseshoe Hangover: Buckeyes put up a 70-burger on Grambling State, Julian Sayin nearly perfect, Jeremiah Smith sets record, game balls and look-ahead to Ohio
Description
The latest episode of Land Grant Holy Land's Horseshoe Hangover is here! Join Alex Frank and Ryan Weckstein as they help you get through any lingering feelings you may have from the weekend while recapping Ohio State's latest game and looking ahead to the next game.
Ohio State hung 70 points on Grambling State Saturday in an impressive display on both sides of the ball. Julian Sayin took a big step forward, and that's worth noting even against an FCS team. Alex and Ryan talk about how Ryan Day has managed Sayin in his development through the first two weeks of the season and why he's done a good job.
Defensively, the Buckeyes pitched a shutout, and it was great to see role players and depth players make plays on Saturday. That can be a good thing going forward to have multiple guys that can step up in games.
Alex and Ryan hand out their game balls and look ahead to a sneaky tough game against the Ohio Bobcats next Saturday.
