In 2021, human resources leaders at the University of California, Irvine leveraged changing ideas about the nature of work to introduce “Work Reimagined,” a program designed to retain the institution’s culture and community and deliver on its mission while building a human-centric work experience that allows for increased flexibility where and when employees work.
