Fraud and identity theft can occur at any age, and in fact, the Federal Trade Commission reports that identity theft victims under 30 account for 27 percent of all cases, compared to 19 percent for those 60 or older. In the age of technology and social media, young people need to be mindful of red flags and fraud traps.
