In the first episode, we talked about some of the large-scale structural forces that have produced a Supreme Court with views radically out of line with those of the American people. Today, we discuss some smaller, dramatic events that contributed to the crisis. Then, we turn to weaknesses in the original design of the Constitution that made it possible for those events to have occurred.
