Description

Next on Anshism, I’m joined by Victoria Claire, an extraordinary sculptor, speaker, and advocate who has spent over 30 years shaping the art world despite losing her sight to Retinitis Pigmentosa. Diagnosed at the age of 19, Victoria’s life was transformed as she faced the emotional and physical challenges of her condition.

In this episode, Victoria shares her journey of rebuilding after profound loss, turning to sculpture as a therapeutic outlet that evolved into a remarkable career. Over the years, she’s created more than 250 sculptures, held solo exhibitions across the UK and Ireland, and inspired many through her teaching and advocacy.

As she prepares to retire from sculpture, Victoria discusses her new mission to support the blind and visually impaired community through her initiative, Beyond Vision. From public speaking to radio presenting, she’s determined to raise awareness and offer vital support for those facing sight loss.

Victoria leaves us with a powerful reminder that, no matter the challenges, life is precious and full of opportunities to create, connect, and inspire. Don’t miss this heartfelt conversation!
