Balaji is the CEO and cofounder of 21, which has raised more than $116M in funding. He holds a BS, MS, and PhD in Electrical Engineering and an MS in Chemical Engineering from Stanford. He taught data mining, statistics, and computational biology in the Department of Statistics at Stanford University.

21 (http://www.21.co) has developed software (also called 21) that allows you to get bitcoin on any device, add bitcoin micropayments to any app with one line of code, and start earning bitcoin on every HTTP request. It essentially allows you to build a "machine web" of computers autonomously discovering, buying from, and selling to each other.
