Katie Cuas is currently a Transitional Care Nurse assisting geriatric adults and their families navigate through the healthcare system and connect them with services to improve their Culture of Health. She works collaboratively with care partners to create innovative and adaptive client plans of care. Katie also performs various community health outreach and education programs for the Center for Healthy Aging and also local community entities such as local YMCA and Senior Centers.
Host Mairead Painter is the Long Term Care Ombudsman for the state of Connecticut and a leader who is building strong community ties in the challenging area of long term care. She brings her expertise to address issues and solutions.
