Two weeks ago, in our study through Colossians, we learned, “whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.” (Col. 3:17 ) Last week we looked at how Paul applied that principle to families. Now this week in Colossians 3:22-4:1, we are going to learn how he applies the principle to work. Students, we’ll also learn how this relates to your academic career. Not a student or a worker? Retirees, the principle will also relate to how you spend your retirement.
