Michael Coleman, “The Metropolitan Cowboy,” is the Artistic Director of the Phoenix-based creative entity known as See Your Shadow Songwriting, which holds the distinction as Phoenix’s Number 1 independent country artist. Michael writes and produces all the music for See Your Shadow. He and his creative team, known as The See Your Shadow Network of Stars, brings the music to life, and they were recently named the best group by The International Music Association.   See Your Shadow has garnered five consecutive number 1 singles on the iTunes Country Music Chart in South Africa.

Michael wrote and produced the first female hick-hop record of a woman of color and the first danceable recording to feature the banjo as the lead instrument. Michael, or Metro as his friends call him, is also an award-winning filmmaker, two-time nominee for the office of Poet Laureate for the State of Ohio under Governor John Kasich, and Executive Director of the 501 (c)(3) non-profit, The Gray Rainbow Foundation.
