In the GrACE framework, staying true to your word is part of "C" -- Confidence.
Building the Confidence in the child that they are someone who is true to their word. That they are a dependable and trustworthy person.
On today's episode, my 4yo says one thing, but does another. Instead of leading with punishment or labels, "you're a liar!", I use it as an opportunity to teach her about honesty and dependability. Here's how I do it and how you can apply the lessons in your home.
