Ten years after Hurricane Katrina, we’re speaking with two pollution responders from NOAA’s Office of Response and Restoration who were working in Louisiana in the wake of these destructive storms. First, we’re speaking by phone with Charlie Henry, who at the time was NOAA’s primary scientific advisor to the Coast Guard in New Orleans and who today serves as Director for NOAA’s Gulf of Mexico Disaster Response Center in Mobile, Alabama.
