I can only speak for myself, but there was a period when I thought about dropping out when I was an undergraduate and master's student at the university. It is because of my deafness and the obstacles I faced. However, a few people altered my life and helped me, and that is how I discovered my interest in the academic world. I shared my personal experience with deaf people and those considering attending university, as well as what to look out for.
