David Karoly is a Professor Emeritus (honorary) at the University of Melbourne. He retired at the start of February 2022 from CSIRO in Australia, where he was a Chief Research Scientist in the CSIRO Climate Science Centre. He is an internationally recognised expert on climate change and climate variability.
