Most parents do quite well when it comes to caring for the physical needs of their children, but fail to recognize the dire need for the emotional support that they are crying out for, but are unable to put into words. Children are capable of handling their unfamiliar life situations with confidence and assurance, but these INNER RESOURCES cannot be drawn upon without input and direction from parents, caregivers, and educators in the home as well as school. This show will help adults to understand the direct correlation between emotional support, and the enhanced self-esteem of children. Our host, Ruby Swift (who has a strong interest and background in early childhood education and child development), will share some ideas as to what parents, caregivers and educators can do to optimize children's emotional support; as well as the unparalleled advantage of PLAY as the foundation for learning and nuturing that support.
