Karlsruhe is living up to the hype as Germany’s high-tech hub: At the Innovation Festival 2021, a carefully curated panel of high-profile speakers presented 13 specially selected innovations.
The event was introduced by Peter Weibel, Director of the ZKM, and Dr. Frank Mentrup, Lord Mayor of Karlsruhe, Germany, and was a perfect opportunity to discover more about the vibrant IT community of the city.
As leading IT security innovators and committed ambassadors for Karlsruhe, Wibu-Systems was proud to be part of the InnovationFestival. Oliver Winzenried, our CEO and founder, was joined by Bastian Wieland, Managing Partner at archis Architekten, to speak about the newest developments – commercial, technical, and architectural – at Wibu-Systems. Their talk on “IT Security Innovation through Co-operation” took a closer look at the conceptual thinking and principles of co-operation behind the new co-working and co-innovation space IT Security Club as well as the highlights from Wibu-Systems’ own labs: the cloud-based protection and licensing system CmCloud and the Blurry Box encryption technology.
