The demand for Double Taxation Agreements (DTA) has increased due to various contexts in the East African Community such as constitutionalism, the growth of trade and services both regionally and internationally, plus the discovery of natural resources that raised the need for inflows of Foreign Direct Investments (FDI) in the region.
