Illegal Vape Sales Thrive Online After Raids
Update: 2025-12-05
Description
Queenslands tough new laws against illegal vaping products have led to a surge in online sales, with a supplier moving operations online and offering same-day delivery. Despite the crackdown, the supplier continues to operate through a chat room with over three hundred members, selling vapes for between twenty and sixty dollars with a twenty-dollar delivery fee. The Therapeutic Goods Administration has banned the advertising of vapes and the sale of non-therapeutic and disposable vapes, with health department officers now working undercover in suspected stores. The sale of illegal vaping products can result in significant fines, product seizures, court proceedings, and even jail time.
