This week we have Imogen the Vice President / equality and welfare officer of University of Galway. We thought this would be a good episode for students because truthfully when we were in college we hadn’t a clue what was there to help us so we hope this episode is helpful to some of ye 💘  
Imogen tells us about all her different roles and how she can help students if they are struggling and what is available in regards to issues you’re having with the college , fees  , assignments , housing etc. Imogen is a voice for the students representing their opinions and issues in meetings with Governing authority where all the main decision making of the college takes place. 
We talk about about financial funds that the college can offer you and how they can help you with SUSI. The housing crisis as we know is tragic in Galway Imogen talks about the housing protest that went on recently and how it was a big success. It was actually tough to listen to how bad it is here for the students of Galway including poor  international students who are so far away from home.
This Thursday in the college there is a big walk out at 11:11 for all students to walk out of lectures as a move to bring light to the housing crisis and the cost of living across the country please do get involved me and Chloe are secretly sad we can’t join in sounds like a vibe 😂 
Imogen finishes off speaking about how she’s been so blessed with all the opportunities she’s gotten in DJ’n which is also a passion for her 🤍
